Buy My Books!!!

I've really only been selling my books via comic fests. It's really the best way. But... I need to reach out to you internet folk.

I've gone and done the simplest thing I could figure out and I put a bunch of them up on Etsy. Here's the link:

I appreciate every sale and I usually throw in some extra little bits. If you mention this blog I'll throw in a copy of INTRUDER with each sale!

Swellzombie See's the Music

This is a digest sized mini zine that collects 8 comics that I illustrated based on the lyrics of 8 different song by 8 different musicians. It was originally apart of the Bureau of Drawer's comics box set called COMBO #1.

Since I'm going to the Portland Zine Symposium I've reprinted it and like the original printing I've included a mix CD with the 8 tracks that inspired the art. So if you're not a weird-o like me and don't already own these songs...

New Chamber Third Printing

Here's what the 3rd printing looks like. I went a little more minimal with the artwork, but went with a hard cover this time.

All 10 hand drawn covers on light pink crescent board. Measures roughly 8 1/2 w X 5 1/2 h.

These will be on sale at the Portland Zine Symposium. Aug 6th and Aug 7th!!

Eek... looks sort of like a yoo-hoo.

 Only ten available!!

Weekly 097

Less than a year ago I came up with two pages of the ANT and offered readers to come up with ideas for what might happen next in the story. Since I'll be putting the Psychic Creature to rest soon, I thought I'd follow through and come up with a continuation based on what people came up with.
Most suggestions had the ANT going into the basement and finding "something". So I went with that prevailing choice and then used some more parts from a couple of other suggestions.
Thanks Chris, Charlie, and Brandon for ideas.

Here are the previous pages.

Weekly 027

I'm looking for a writer to help me fill in the narration and the dialogue for this comic. If you want to submit some writing please e-mail your script to me at swellzombie@gmail.com by next Monday.
When I chose the script that I like I'll repost it here and notify the winner. So check back here next week to see who's work has been chosen.
This is not a paying gig.
Thanks, Marc Palm.

current information about lack of daily comics

OK so if anyone has even been noticing I haven't been posting a comic daily here for a few days. Obviously that sort of is against the "daily comic" code. However, I have been drawing them daily. I've just had some internet issues that I hope can been solved on their own. If not, then I'll have to adjust my ways and means for getting daily comics posted on a daily schedule. Currently I'm at a very packed cafe/tea house called Zoka. It's near my apartment and it'll serve my needs for now. So hold tight, don't get discouraged and please don't give up on me. This is my baby, and currently the only thing that I have control over. Life is otherwise uncontrolable and constantly changing.

PS: thank you Levi for letting people know what's up when I couldn't.

Day 1

A Daily comic is something that I've wanted to do for years. I've always admired those who can. Like James Kolchaka and others like that.

So with a point of a finger and a demand, a recent acquaintance Billis told me to do it. He has his own daily comics online and I recommend them.

I also recommend going to Cafe Racer. That's where I met Billis and where I get to chat with Jim Woodring and Bruce Bickford. They have dirty mocha's and clean ones too. There's no soapy taste, don't worry. Anyway, it's a great place. So is Chaco Canyon. I love caffeine and these places are good environments to get my fix.
