Day 233

The Gumball Mollusk is a land creature that hides it's eggs in the ground until it is mating season. So in order to find it's eggs again it uses it's very sensitive feelers to feel for the special movements of the eggs. The eggs produce unique vibrations in order to keep warm in the dirt. Only the mothers can sense this particular vibrations. Once found, it uses a drill like tube to boar into the earth and collect each egg in the sack atop of it's head. It will feel the egg sack and basically count the eggs until it has collected them all. Afterwards the display of the full egg sack is what will lure males to them. The female with the most eggs will most likely draw more mates than those who will not produce that many off spring.
