This was done on the table at the Galaway Arms before midnight. So... it counts as a comic for the 26th of June. I'm so glad that I waited until I got out of work to do this. The creature making the adjustments doesn't even have the word balloon pointed at it. ENJOY!!!
So I'm happy to let you all know about The Mutated Skeleton Cave. A bigtime Monster maker!! I found Aeron's artwork about a year ago when I was searching for information on toy making. He was interested in making little figures of his monsters. Why? Because it would AWESOME!! I had no info to give him so I just enjoyed his art. He's made up SO MANY monsters you wouldn't believe it. They're cheap to own so I would really recommend those with $10 to throw around get some original monster art. Thanks Aeron!
WOW!!! I'm really getting into this comic stuff. I'm really thankful so many people are checking this stuff out and liking it. I'm meeting tons of new great artist and getting involved in some new projects. As always I'll keep you posted on what's new.
So I'm really glad that Drawn.ca accepted me. It's really helped give me some more attention. The comments that are posted there are really flattering. Thanks everyone. I'm glad that people are getting it and feeling the right way about it. To quote one of the comments:
"It made me smile and feel a little uneasy at the same time."daniellocke Says: June 19th, 2007 at 1:12 pm That's pretty much the way it ought to go.
This is really different from the other stuff because I was watching this tape that had a bunch of women who where interested in dating men in Los Angeles in 1992. Amazing! Really bad hair and some pretty picky chicks. Happy Father's Day too.
So the Vote's are in and here's the cover for the Lair of the Psychic Creature sampler mini. Remember to send me your current address so that you can get you one. With way more than 16 comics to fill the physical void in your world that these virtual versions can't.
So I'm going to assemble a collection of these comics to put in a small publication. A mini/zine like thing. I figured I'd put what I thought were the best comics. But why not find out what others think are the best. So let me know which ones are your favorites! Also send me your physical address if you want a copy of this upcoming comic. I'll use it to send you one. That's how it'll work. Strange, I know. Who'd a thunk, huh?
So... 50 days have passed. Does it seem that long? Does it seem longer? I'm pretty damn happy I got this far. I plan to keep going until I'm tired of it. I have it in mind that the content might change from this to that in the future. This style with the creatures is fun but I might try and expand into some other things. Robots are good. So keep reading to see how things go.
Keep an eye/ear open for news of a mini comic/zine that will collect some of these in a physical form.
I want to give a big thanks to Levi Bailey who inspires me with his better than average support and how much he flatters me.
I also want to thank Tony Millionaire for the influence that I didn't really realize was there until recently.
As well as Anders Nilsen who I really really enjoy and has definately influenced me.
Kevin Clarke I thank you for your input. I actually do listen and appreciate your ideas. You're a very funny guy and if I can get you to laugh, I'm doing OK.
Jeff and Sarah at Chaco for the support and coffee.
National Geographic and insect/aquatic documentary film makers for letting me see a fantastical world.
