For the first time in many many years, I'm going to have a table of my own at a comic convention. I'm sure it sounds tremendous and a bit epic. But in actuality the Olympia Comics Festival is dainty. It's only held on one day and is going to be about 5 hours long. What's cool is that it will be pretty intimate and totally oriented around independent comics.
I attended Stumptown Comic Fest a few weeks back and was so inspired by Portland's comic community and all the great works that were featured there. I thought that I might as well sign up for the next local fest and see if I can't inspire some people and meet more great artists. Also try to sell some comics and prints.
I'm going to have the second printing of The New Chamber as well as a whole new comic called Molting. I've got copies of the collected daily Lair of the Psychic Creature comics as well as some real el cheapo copies of the Big Ol' book of B.I.Z.M.A.R. published by Young American Comics.
